In Spanish Blackjack each deck consists of 48 playing cards made up of the standard 52 cards, less the four 10 cards. Each deck is shuffled before every game. It is an American Hole Card game. Key rules in Spanish Blackjack are:
It is played with eight Spanish Card Decks.
Dealer peeks on 10 value cards and Aces.
Late surrender option.
Dealer does not stand on soft 17
Bonus payouts available.
The aim is to beat the Dealer's hand by either getting a better hand, without exceeding 21, or by the Dealer's hand going bust. In Spanish Blackjack, you can only bet one hand at a time.
Clicking the Surrender button enables you to give up half your original bet amount for the privilege of not playing out a hand. For example: use the Surrender option if you think you are going to lose the hand.
Blackjack is when your hand contains an Ace and a card with a value of ten. It is the strongest hand in Spanish Blackjack, and automatically stands. It cannot be beaten.
If you win a Blackjack you are paid out at odds of 3:2 on your original bet.If you have a winning hand but not a Blackjack, you are paid out at odds of 1:1 on your original bet.
If you lose against a Dealer's Blackjack and have taken Insurance, you are paid out at odds of 2:1 on your Insurance bet.
There are also Bonus 21 hand combinations, and these determine the Bonus payout.
